Wool Mulch

Ewings Wooly Acres wool mulch is an organic planting soil amendment made from raw wool and natural wood ash. Wool mulch is made from 100% all natural material. The wool fibers are shredded and compressed into a dense mulch pellet to create a highly beneficial soil amendment for BOTH potted plants and garden applications

Benefits:

• The wool mulch takes several months to breaks down, which means it slowly releases the nutrients into the soil. This creates a long-lasting, all natural source of enrichment for the plants.
• Wool is naturally high in Nitrogen and several other macronutrients such as Potassium, Phosphorus, Calcium, Sulfur, and Magnesium.
• Wood Ash naturally contains high levels of Potassium and Calcium. It also helps the Acidity of soil.
• Wool can hold 20% their weight in water which enhances water retention, this can protect your plants from being overwatered.
• Wool mulch will expand in the soil which will improved air exchange between the soil and atmosphere. This will help the nutrients in the soil be more effective.
• Slug repelent.

Directions For Use:

• Mix wool mulch into the potting soil OR, 
• Spread the wool mulch around existing plants and work into soil.
• For gardens mix it in with the soil as you would with any other fertilizer.
• A 12oz. bag is enough for at least 5 gallons of soil.
• For continuous results, apply every 4 to 6 months.
